Robots aren’t exactly a new phenomenon.
As recently as a decade ago, there were thousands of toy robots out there.
Today, it’s a bit harder to find the latest and greatest, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some interesting ways to use the gadgets.
Take the one for the Litter Robot Coupon, which offers up a coupon code for a $5 discount on a $50 Amazon order.
“Amazon has long been the leader in toy robotics, but in recent years they’ve begun to offer more sophisticated robots for home and office,” says The Verge’s Emily Schumann.
“This new coupon is one of the best ways to save for a new toy.”
The coupon codes can be redeemed on Amazon for the same price as the toy you want to purchase, or they can be applied to an entire order, so you can get a discount on an entire lot of products.
“It’s a really great way to save on new toys,” says Jana Glynn, an editor at The Verge.
“There are so many toys you can use as a coupon for.”
It works with a variety of robots, from the popular Amazon Echo and the Google Home, to the much more popular Raspberry Pi and even a couple of more recent models like the Alexa, Amazon Fire TV, and Amazon Tap.
It even comes with a handy coupon code if you want something even more handy.
“Once you enter your code, it appears on the robot’s web page,” explains The Verge, “so it’s easy to use for home, office, or anywhere in between.”
The robots are made by Litter Robotics, which was founded by John G. Schimmelstein, and is currently focused on the robotics and home automation market.
